Multifaceted harpist

He began studying Harp at the National Conservatory of Lisbon with Fausto Dias. At the same school he deepened his knowledge in Composition with Eurico Carrapatoso and in Contemporary Music with Clotilde Rosa.

In 2010, he continued his studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where he obtained a Master's degree in Harp, with a focus on solo performance. He also holds a Master's degree in Music Teaching from the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, with the dissertation theme "Imagery as a strategy in teaching the harp".

Salomé also demonstrates an eclectic approach to learning and personal development. With a background in Music, which includes Electronics, Physical Education and Sports, SME Business Management and NoCode Software Development, she continues to expand her horizons, currently on the AEEP Directors and Middle Managers Course.

Since 2006, she has been developing an intense and diverse artistic work in the musical field. She has participated in musicals with Filipe La Féria and Nuno Feist and collaborated with Victor Gama in several multi-instrumental projects. She has performed internationally in London, Amsterdam, Bogotá, Luanda, among other places, since 2010. She has also participated in events such as the Amadora Comics Festival, the Gala of Women Entrepreneurs Europe/Africa, the Song Festival, the Rio Harp Festival and the Journées Internationales de la Harpe.

His career includes several recordings, premieres of works, multidisciplinary projects and collaborations with various artists, composers, choreographers and directors. He has recorded with artists and composers such as John Psathas, Pedro Carneiro, Anne Victorino de Almeida, Bastien Baumet and Rui Veloso. He has premiered several works and, in 2017, performed the winning piece of the composition competition "Música em Criação" by Mariana Vieira. He has collaborated on projects dedicated to contemporary music with groups such as Capdeville Ensemble, Lisbon Ensemble XX/XXI and MPMP, in addition to having been part of Rita Redshoes' "Lado Bom" tour, collaborating with Lisboa Incomum, Concrète [Lab] Ensemble and Darcos Ensemble.

He collaborates with the main orchestras in Portugal, including the Gulbenkian Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra and the Lisbon Film Orchestra.

She plays a fundamental role in the promotion and teaching of Music, having launched in 2020 the project "harpaXXI.pt", presented in CD and show format to promote Portuguese composition of the 21st century, for solo harp. She has participated in projects such as "Música Pra Ti", by Fábrica das Artes, "Sinfonix" and the Almada Music Festival. As a teacher, she has prepared students who entered national and international higher education, characterizing her teaching style as demanding and motivating, aiming at artistic excellence and a genuine love for Music.
