Affirming a chameleonic artistic character, Salomé Pais Matos is the soloist invited by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, under the baton of Maestro Rui Pinheiro, to play one of Mozart's most beautiful concerts for Flute and Harp, with Rui Maia as a musical accomplice on the day January 18th.
At the invitation of the Entrepreneurial Women Europe/Africa, she participates solo at the Gala to be held on February 22th. Two days later, on February 24th, she performs solo a 17th Century Music concert at Quinta da Regaleira.
After recording the theme "Perfeito", composed by Tiago Machado, written by Boss AC and played by Matay, participates in the final of the Song Festival on March 2nd.

In another project, Salomé Pais Matos collaborates with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, under the baton of Maestro Rui Pinheiro, in one of the most beautiful and well-known ballets, Swan Lake.
Tchaikovsky´s Music wil be the set for the company Quorum Ballet to tell the story, coreographed by Daniel Cardoso.
"Swan Lake" tells the story of the young Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with Odette, a Queen who was turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer.
Considered one of the most difficult ballets, by the essencial interpretation for the essence of the show. That's what impresses in ballet.
Ballet taking place on December 1st and 2nd, at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro.
Salomé Pais Matos Integrates "Royal Fado"
After recording the CD Royal Fado, by Yolanda Soares, Salomé Pais Matos was the harpist selected to integrate her live performances.
"Royal Fado", deals with the most erudite fados of Amália Rodrigues, from its so-called "operatic" epoch, due to the more sophisticated writing and composition of the fados dedicated and sung by her.
With an fresh instrumentation, with influences of World Music and Erudite, this project has as central instrument the Harp.

Salomé Pais Matos back to play with the Orquestra de Câmara Portuguesa, under the baton of Pedro Carneiro, and the Companhia Nacional de Bailado, which completes the 40th anniversary in 2016/2017, with the La Bayadère ballet to be premiered in full, for the first time in Portugal .
The story, with nearly 140 years and with libretto by Sergei Khudekov, reports loves, misunderstandings, betrayal and jealousy of a rajah, a warrior, a princess, a fakir, a high Hindu priest and a Temple dancer (bayadère).
India and the Himalayan mountains are the setting where action unfolds. Premiered in St. Petersburg, in 1887, by the hand of Marius Petipa, the ballet evokes an India where it fit veils of odalisques, classic tutus, fakirs, knickknacks, European waltzes and all the ingredients that the splendor of Imperial Russia and the taste for the exotic that could imagine at distance at the time.
The travel accounts by Marco Polo Silk Route that, by then, had past from fantastic stories to almost scientific confirmations, inflaming the imagination and reproduced at home and with what was at hand cultures "beyond the Taprobana ". One of the acts, the Shadow, perhaps the greatest example of the classic academic dance, has, despite its structural simplicity, a huge technical difficulty for the body female ball. All of it is sliding, hypnotic, heavenly beauty, perhaps not by chance that it is precisely with that in the script , it reaches Nirvana. It is the consciousness of this wonderful ambiguity, that the creators of this new version are proposed to recreate La Bayadère - in a time that seems that we know almost everything, but where the narratives about the "other" remain as imagined, fascinating and enigmatic as perhaps have been so .

XI RIO HARP FESTIVAL, presented the international extension in Portugal as part of an Salome Pais Matos concert dedicated to the Portuguese comtemporary Music, at the Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval . A program consisting of world premieres of Portuguese works by composers of the XXI century, dedicated to the harpist, and also a modern premiere of Sonata for Harp (1807), by João José Baldi.
In Rio de Janeiro , a program in quintet was presented with the collaboration of Quarteto de Cordas de Sintra, with several concerts around town and much applauded by the public.
These concerts were a co-production of the Rio Harp Festival, Sintra Estúdio de Ópera and Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, with the support of Antena 2 .
Salomé Pais Matos with OML and Rui Horta in "Cabul"
"CABUL" is the title of a scenic and musical Rui Horta's creation, completed with Morton Feldman music, by the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa.
Starting from a free adaptation of " The Mission ", by Heiner Müller, Rui Horta conceives a show in which the orchestra is placed in the center of the stage, playing sounds of Morton Feldman crisscrossed with a large monologue in body and voice of the actor Pedro Gil.
